Mellowteen is a four-piece band from Zagreb, Croatia, a by-product of the musical collective JeboTon. They are led by Matija Milutin on vocals and acoustic guitar, backed by Matko Bobić on electric, Viktor Slamnig on bass and Ivan Cimi Marinović on drums. The band formed following Matija's arrival from the coastal village of Vrsi to Zagreb in 2018 with a fresh batch of acoustic tunes. Matija's silky voice merged with the instrumental trio from JeboTon called Sfumato, and so Mellowteen was born, a melancholic grunge-inspired quartet streaked with soulful and introspective melodies. They describe themselves as "Dope-Rock".

Their first album, "Peaks", was self produced in Viktor's "Slama's House" studio. The nine songs, ranging from dark and intimate bangers to lively, cheerful tunes, ponder with the questions of love and existence, while thunderous guitar solos and groovy bass lines reveal that the answers just aren't so easy to find.
